Archie Beeke

Currently taking a gap year having completed A-Level studies at Hills Road Sixth form College in Physics, Maths and Philosophy I am looking for an opportunity to further develop my work-based skills before going to university.

Alongside my studies, I have worked in a variety of paid and voluntary roles to gain work experience. These opportunities have given me a broad range of skills and experience that I bring to the workplace. A selection of the various roles that I have held are summarised below:

- Regular work at Asda in Cambridge taking the responsibility for a particular are of the store, including maintaining and updating the computerised stock system. Training new colleagues was also part of this role.

- I have worked for Scudamores Punting gaining experience of excellent customer service as well as handling card transactions.

- Work experience at Cambridge Intelligence, developing data visualisation tools and learning web-based programming skills.

- Work experience at a local primary school, helping with classroom teaching and supporting students most in need.

Outside of work and studies, my interests include music, sport and computing. I have excellent interpersonal skills, able to work as part of a team but also to show initiative when required to work independently.
