I provide consistent, trauma informed care, building trusting relationships with those I support. Following the children's individual care plans and different strategies that are in place, while following safeguarding polices. Supporting them in their daily routines, education and personal care. I effectively manage challenging behaviour using de-escalation techniques, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment at all times. I also maintain daily accurate records and follow food and hygiene polices and paperwork. In my work I promote independence and life skills like cooking and day to day challenges. I actively participate in team meetings and any ongoing training to enhance my practice.

I got this job through family business, however this job showed me the importance of working on tight schedules to make sure all jobs were done within their certain time that was allocated to. Also this job had me working in a different types of environments and working with different clients for all these different needs:

· Using vacuum cleaners and associated accessories to clean various floor surfaces to customer specifications.

· Polished glass, mirrors and metal items to attractive shine.

· Achieved spotless results within working time frames to meet client needs.

· Restocked, cleaned and sanitized bathroom spaces for optimum appearance and functionality.

· Kept floors clean with regular sweeping, vacuuming and mopping.

During the period of time when i was doing voluntary work for Pontyclun tigers. I had to develop an excellent relationship with all the students and staff. To make sure all the students were surrounded by a positive learning environment but to also develop each child to help them reach their own personal goals. During my time working here i needed to be able to:

• Facilitated parent-teacher conferences, informing of children's progress and highlighting areas for attention.
• Support teaching staff with lesson implementation, enabling smooth running activity.
• Maintained sensitivity towards students with additional needs, continually improving their development and confidence.
• Prepared engaging, effective learning materials to boost stimulation and encourage further interest.

This Job was all about coming together as a team to make sure all lessons would run smoothly, but also being able to work independently to make sure everything that was needed to be done was completed during the time giving.
