• I completed a 2 year Apprenticeship in Pharmacy Technician course via buttercups training. I am currently in the process of of completing my Accuracy checking. This is aimed to be completed May 2025.
• My role involved rotating around different areas to look at the roles and responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician.

This employment involved working on the wards at St James hospital.

I worked in Bexley Labelling room. My duties include:

• Dispensing patient prescriptions. Ordering patient and ward medication. Stock maintenance of the labelling room Pharmacy returns on ward level Stock rotation and carrying out a date check on a monthly basis to ensure medications are within date.
• Holding the bleep and triaging calls and passing on the relevant information to relevant person Training pre-registration pharmacist and technicians ward level tasks. General day to day duties such as answering queries, filing, fridge temps and maintenance of the labelling room. Inputting liver, renal and Hep B homecare on to the JAC system.
• Processed prescriptions efficiently, ensuring all documentation was accurate and complete.
• Supported the pharmacist with daily tasks, resulting in a more efficient working environment.
• Liaised with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate prescription handling and delivery.
• Assisted in the training of new staff members.
