Summary

I am compassionate healthcare professional specialising in assisting patients to enhance their ADLs, quality of life and independence. Patient advocacy and interdisciplinary collaboration is at the core of my practice. I have worked in established occupational therapy services and assessed functional abilities across diverse settings, including low secure ward, neurodiverse conditions, brain injury charity and currently working within a service for domestic violence survivors and their children. I provide myself on my holistic, patient-centred non-judgemental manner, tailoring interventions to the needs and goals of patients and effective multidisciplinary teamwork. As Occupational Therapist I am also trained in applying sensory inclusion techniques to enhance functional performance and supporting the best environments to thrive within. I am trained in fine motor skills to develop dexterity and have facilitated social skills groups for comprehensive skill development.
