I have recently completed my Bronze Duke Of Edinburgh award This involved me doing Volunteering, learning a new skill, practical elements and an expedition This taught me resilience and gave me opportunities to work with new peers who I haven't spent time with before It also helped improve my communication skills and made me feel proud I had achieved something new
Outside of school I am a keen sportsman I play cricket for my own club as well as being successful to be picked for my district age group as well I enjoy playing football for Battyeford sporting club and I am pleased we are currently top of that league
I enjoy fundraising and have been successful raising money different places including my cricket club, for our local Hospice and national Cancer Research Charity I have done this with individual activities as well as part of groups These have included running 50 miles in a month with my dad, doing a bake sale, skipping everyday for a month and sponsored walks
I enjoy being a team and have good communication skills but I am hoping that work experience in the professional world will help me develop these more and also increase my confidence
