Thumbay clinic is a multi-speciality clinic which attached to Thumbay hospitals and Gulf Medical university.

Role: As a general Practitioner being the first point of contact for patients.

-Nursery Visit at Indigo Valley Nursery, Dubai.

-Clinical tutor for MBBS students at Gulf Medical University

- Organising Medical camps in various companies.

Popular clinic is a primary care centre in a rural area catering the primary medical needs of the local population.

Role: As a Medical Officer, conducting independent Out Patient Clinic.

Responsibility:

- Diagnosis and management of all common acute conditions.

- General health check-ups and health advise.

- Follow up appointments for reassessment and management of chronic conditions

- Referrals to specialised centres for laboratory and radiological investigations.

- Giving specialist referrals where ever necessary.

- Referrals to hospital emergency if needed.

- Documentation in outpatient department and referrals.

P Natarajan Memorial Hospital is a combined secondary care hospital where in both modern medicine and Ayurvedic medicine is provided.

Role: I worked as a Resident Medical Officer (SHO equivalent) in Department of Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities:

Providing emergency treatment for patients which included minor traumas, acute medical conditions which are not life threatening.

- Identification of life-threatening conditions, initial management and immediate referral to specialist centres.

- Attending on calls for In-patient at night and coordination with admitting doctor.

- Attending to medical conditions and monitoring laboratory results of patients under Ayurvedic treatment.

Believers Church Medical College Hospital is a tertiary care centre with 743 beds and a teaching facility for medical, nursing and paramedical courses.

Role: I worked as a Junior Doctor (SHO equivalent) in Department of Emergency Medicine reporting to the HOD where my shifts consisted day, night and on-calls.

Responsibilities:

-Triaging and providing emergency treatment to patients attending the EM department in a closely knit team supervised by EM consultants and liase with concerned specialities.

-Bedside teaching to medical students
