I am a skilled care provider assisting elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities with daily living activities in-home or within care facility's. I advise families and healthcare teams regarding health concerns, nutrition, cleanliness and household activities.
Experienced care assistant with 28 years of in-home caring expertise. I complete domestic duties and help patients with self-care and hygiene. I deliver genuine companionship to elderly patients by anticipating and proactively addressing needs.
I worked in the community with customers that needed personal care, meals and medication. It was a free service that the Warwickshire county council offered to re enable people instead of them going into full time care.
The role was to encourage the customers to do as much as possible for them selves to get them back on their feet and able to ready them to live independently.
Reablement gave me a career that I enjoyed for many years, a passion to help people and meet people from all walks of life.

My job role was to assist my clients to be as independent as possible, helping with personal care, shopping, cleaning, cooking, medication and finances. I also took those in my care on holidays whilst working here.
I achieved my NVQ level 2 in care during this time, and continued to develop relationships with my clients and peers.
