Won the ASiT Regional Event Grant for a surgical teaching course for pre-clinical medical students in 2018.

  • Generation and evaluation of artificial mental health records for Natural Language Processing.
  • Identifying perinatal self-harm in electronic healthcare records using natural language processing.
  • Developing a Natural Language Processing tool to identify perinatal self-harm in electronic healthcare records.

Article submissions including:

  • Writer for EyeNews Journal – Article on Oculomics due in June Issue.
  • Pending publication of a series of Case-Reports linked to ENT and Ophthalmic Surgery.

Affiliations

  • I have a keen interest in technology and digital solutions within my personal life, as well as my professional life. I am a Digital Champion for digital tools at my trust, offering support with implementation and review of digital systems in use.
  • I am also an ORCHA (The Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps) Clinical Expert, which involves close work with the ORCHA network and their goal to increase the safe use of digital tools within healthcare.
  • In my spare time, I enjoy honing my physical body, whether that is with regular gym training, or with playing badminton. To unwind, I often enjoy long walks, or playing video games.
