I have worked at the wonderful Ashmead school in Aylesbury for the last 5 years after many years of volunteering there. I have worked with school years 3 and 4 mostly but also across different year groups. Some of the things I cover daily are:

• Looking after children in all class room and education needs, first aid, giving medicines, handwriting/pre teaching groups, marking work and assessing, behaviour/emotional support, well being support groups, swimming, school trips(Wick Court farm for City Kids X3 week long residential trips) and lots more.
• Speaking to parents on the phone and face to face , building vital relationships.
• Recording first aid and behaviour logs
• Assisting teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities and covering staff absence where needed within the class.
• Supported students with individual learning needs.
• Organised classroom resources and maintained an orderly learning environment.
• Facilitated group activities to encourage teamwork and social skills development.
• Developed and implemented strategies for effective behaviour management.
• Worked closely with teachers to implement engaging lessons which improved student participation.

• Created intricate face paint designs for children at events and parties.
• Provided high-quality nail services including manicures and pedicures. and intricate nail art designs.

I worked at Ker-Maria nursing home for 13 years until I left on maternity leave with my 3rd child in 2010, after which I had a period of time where I was a stay at home mum for 5 years. Whilst working at this high needs nursing home, some of my duties covered.

• End of and after life care. Support to families.
• Assisting patients with daily living activities ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Supported nursing staff in delivering high-quality care and monitoring patient conditions.
• Communicated effectively with patients and families to address concerns and provide reassurance.
• Maintained cleanliness and organisation of patient areas promoting a safe environment.
• Documented patient progress and care activities accurately in medical records.

Harmoni Out of Hours doctors was situated at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. It is now known as 111. I assisted patients coming in to the hospital/ checked them in and helped the doctor get any bits they needed. I only worked for them for a short while but left because i was taxed heavily being a second job at the time.
