
I have worked since leaving education I am now 56 years old. I only had a break from work when I had my 4 children. I am very motivated and love meeting people. I also have a driving licence and car which makes me very independent. I am reliable very prompt and always on time.
I was mainly working as a food and beverage assistant, managing the breakfast service Monday to Friday mornings. I was trained in all aspects of food and hygiene to highest level being responsible for keeping our diligence book which is a requirement for all kitchens in uk. I was part of a 3 person team, which I took the lead in making sure food prepared and served in a timely and presented to a high level. I worked within this hotel for 9 years and I only left as I have relocated to Spain.
I was a very well respected member of the team working very hard and always to the best of my ability. I did ocasionally take on extra duties working behind the bar and front of house when needed. I also managed orders of stock and rotated stock as to make sure all produce fresh at all times.
I worked throughout covid as our hotel was took over by government and we had essential workers in residence. Then we became a quarantine hotel, which was for people travelling from abroad who had to stay in hotel for 10 days. I managed all breakfasts and lunches which had to be consumed in the guests rooms. I prepared, organised working off spreadsheets for our guests orders each day. I thoroughly enjoyed my job as I got to meet many people from across the world.
