
For my DOFE i volunteered at a local charity shop this allowed me to deliver friendly customer service and utilise my communication skills. This role helped me improve my customer service by teaching me how to effectively handle any queries or complaints and allowed me to address customer needs promptly which in part resulted in positive feedback and a pleasant experiencience within the shop. I collaborated effectively with my colleagues to help meet sales targets and foster a supportive work environment. I maintained knowledge on current sales and promotions to help customers make informed buying decisions. I also gained skills in using the tills to allow the service to operate smoothly and reduce waiting time for customers.
Lucali - reason for leaving due to restaurant closure
During my time at lucali I was able to build upon pre-existing skills but also learn new skills. I was able to improve my customer care skills, communication and organisation and build new skills such as handling transactions and learning how to adapt quickly to different scenarios. By effectively managing reservation systems and offering attentive and prompt service to all customers within the restaurant i was able to enhance customer satisfaction. During times of busy work flow i was able to coordinate with my coworkers to ensure a consistent high level of service was always provided. I collaborated with kitchen staff to help ensure a smooth service to limit any problems from occuring. Throughout service i maintained a clean and organised dining area for customers and ensured all health regulations were observed.
