Ross Lukey

I undertook a number of duties including baggage handling, supporting check in, passenger marshalling and communicating with passengers about departures. From this I developed clear communication skills and had to work as part of a team. I really enjoyed working with different people and helping the passengers through the airport.

I assisted the tennis coach with children's weekly sessions, developing racket skills and organising fun games. This allowed me to work with a variety of different people, explain activities clearly and support younger children. When I was in year 8 I completed my junior sports leader award and from this I was able to help organise competitions and fun games for local primary children. I also assisted with cross country events for local primary schools.
