During my week of work experience, I helped the class with certain skills like; Maths, English, History and Welsh. I supervised some of the children with their reading and writing skills too. Within this week, i improved on my own skills such as; listening, speaking to others, working in a team and taking lead. the primary schools do a few lessons of welsh a week. On the Thursday, I took over the Welsh lesson and helped the children out with writing personal profiles about themselves In welsh.

Leadership - During my time at RAFAC, i earned my Leading Badge This displayed many qualities of a leader likke; being able to work in a team and having the chance to lead certain activities These activities could incLuke first aid, team building etc As i completed my badge during the first Covid lockdown of 2020 at home in my own time, this showed my self motivation and independence

Responsibility - I showed Responsibility when i took the responsibility of teaching 12 pupils in my school from the lower year groups I helped them with learning a welsh poem to present for the Eisteddfod we held at our school This meant i had to meet up with the pupils every morning for a few weeks to teach them the poem

Independence - this year, I have signed up to Buddy Reading This process is where each year 12 pupil helps a year 7 pupil with reading for half an hour every week Little challenges are made like finishing book by a due date and win a prize

Resilience - I showed resilience, when i completed my Bronze DofE His involved working in a team to follow a map to various checkpoints, leading to camp At camp, we had to set up our own tents, cook for ourselves and make breakfast The whole expedition lasted 2 days and consisted of 28 miles completed

Communication - While taking part of the role of house captain, I had an important meeting with my head teacher about the probems that have been expressed within my school house We disscussed new currricular activities, explored competitions for the school to get involved in and more
