Roald Dillon

London,United Kingdom

Summary

I am currently back in London after deciding to defer my second year of Uni to focus on working. This first year at uni has taught me a lot about independence, responsibility's and perseverance which will continue to help me throughout this next stage. Before uni I had a very positive year of travelling after getting the highest grade in my 2 year UAL course at London Screen Academy. I really enjoy working in a team, with new people to bring the best service possible to customers. I know that many of the skills i learnt at LSA, travelling, at uni and previous work will transfer over extremely well to a number of positions in the hospitality environment. I am 100% confident in my skills working behind a bar or on the floor and thrive in high pressure environments, while keeping excellent customer service and satisfaction. I am currently available for full time or part time work and believe I would be a great addition to any team.

Accomplishments

I completed 10 days of volunteering on a rural farm in Cambodia, working teaching children, tending to animals and helping build a new school. This was one of the most rewarding, eye opening things I've ever done that is a proud accomplishment of mine and am looking forward to going back one day in the future. Here is my reference after completing the work:

Mr. Kim, owner of I see I do school:

Hello from Cambodia!
Thank you for allowing me to meet and work with Mr. Ro for the children of Cambodia.
Mr. Ro is a hardworking man, very kindness and really helpful person. He provided great experiences for the students and children at I SEE I DO community.
Mr. Ro has helped with some of the work with the animals and has also been involved in the construction of a school and a residential centre for orphans.
I represent the children and students in Cambodia and love you very much. Please know that we miss you and will always remember your good deeds.
We wish you good health and safety throughout your travels, and your return to your country.

Best regards,
Kim Ny
