Summary

I am a compassionate, respectful, and highly motivated international staff nurse. I have completed my Proficiency Certificate Level in Nursing from Tribhuvan University, Institute of Medicine with distinction and I have five years of experience, committed to rendering excellent services to patients and their families. Because of my passion for exploring and constantly delivering quality care to clients/residents/patients, I pursued my Bachelor Of Science in Nursing Studies from one of the most renowned and reputed universities in the world i.e. University of the West of Scotland, and have recently graduated with distinction. This degree enabled me to respond to the changing health needs of the people and populations that I encounter in solution-focused and innovative ways and equip me with in-depth knowledge of contemporary nursing professional practice. In addition, this course also enabled me to learn about opportunities and challenges to help me understand and evaluate professional issues. After graduating recently, as an international nurse I sat for the test of competence (CBT, OSCE) and OET to gain professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) which I aced on the first attempt and now I am registered with NMC. I am patiently waiting and very excited to step into the world of the Registered Nurse in your reputed trust in the UK.

While pursuing my Bachelor's degree and preparing to sit for the test of competence of NMC in the UK, I started working part-time as a Team Leader/Health care assistant in UK-based nursing homes. Over the years I have gained valuable experience in various student placement, wards, and nursing home settings (medicine ward, surgery ward, general ward, operation theater, intensive care unit, dialysis, ENT department, psychiatric wards, orthopedic wart, post-operative ward, maternity ward, labor, and delivery bay, nursing home setting: dementia unit, end of life bay).In addition, I take delight in respecting, uplifting, and defending the core values of my workplace as well as the staff I work with. Additionally, I love to be part of a team and feel happy anytime there is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of other people. Also, I keep to and uphold the standards and values set out in the Code and act with honesty and integrity at all times, treating people fairly and without discrimination, bullying, and harassment. Moreover, I take account of current evidence, knowledge, and developments in reducing mistakes and their effect, and the impact of human factors and system failures. I use innovative and person-centered methods of communication and assessment techniques, monitor and record the vital signs and condition of the patient, and escalate it to the doctor or other health care professionals as needed.
