Over my years of working I believe I have proved I am a hard working and dedicated individual who will always strive to be the best I can be and demand the same from others around me. I have constantly worked well within a team and have also progressed into a strong team leader. I am able to keep calm under pressure and stressful situations which can arise on a day to day basis when you work for a thriving business.
Since taking on the role of Stock and Standards Manager my job has had a few different responsibilities within it. These are as follows;
General warehousing duties included;
While I held this position I would also regularly cover the warehouse manager when he was absent as I was a senior member of the warehouse. I would take charge of customer credits during this time and also manage the other warehouse staff to keep standards and morale high.
As most of the jobs we would be working would be in someone's house site cleanliness was the most important part of my job. Helping the Plasterer with anything from heavy lifting to mixing plaster was also part of my duties. Being a friendly and personable presence to customers who we would be face to face with most days was a huge part of the job also.
