Summary

I am a dedicated family support worker with 16 years’ experience delivering effective services to both service users and multidisciplinary teams. I am highly skilled in multitasking and prioritising under pressure, ensuring that urgent statutory and safeguarding requirements are consistently met.

I have extensive knowledge and hands‑on experience supporting young people and children with disabilities, mental health challenges, and complex needs, particularly within the 0–25 age group.

I was also a foster carer for teenagers aged 14–18, which gives me a unique and valuable understanding of the needs, vulnerabilities, and strengths of children in care.

In addition, I have specialised in supporting children and young people who experience harm outside the home, with a strong professional interest in exploitation, contextual safeguarding, and organised crime. This includes working with multi‑agency partners to assess risks, disrupt harm, and build meaningful, trusting relationships with young people who may be at high levels of vulnerability or influence.
