After completing my BSc degree, I obtained the role of Clinical Research Administrator at the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation Centre of Excellence at King’s College Hospital. Within this role, I have had the opportunity to work on both commercial and non-commercial studies and have undertaken a wide variety of roles.

• Working closely with our clinical team to provide the best standard of care in a multi-disciplinary team
• Providing support to the clinical coordinator team in the form of data entry and management, prompt resolution of data queries and maintenance of site files
• Liaising with sponsors and CRAs to ensure the smooth running of commercial studies
• Working in line with good clinical practise, taking informed consent, administering study scales and processing human tissue samples
• General office admin, including organising meetings and taking minutes
• Monitoring recruitment across all Neuroscience research studies at King's College Hospital, and communicating with principal investigators to ensure studies are running to target.

• Monitored patients' conditions closely and escalated concerns to senior staff.
