Summary
I entered the Lift Trade in 1986 when i joined Stannah Lifts where I served 13 years becoming a qualified Lift Engineer at the age of 23, conducting service, repairs, modernisations and installations to various lifts and stairlifts. I was promoted to a supervisor with Stannah Lifts and served on a working team to design the new generation of Stairlifts. I left Stannah to further my profession and joined ThyssenKrupp as a Field Technician and was promoted, to Sales Manager, Branch Manager and Senior Branch Manager. In 2008 I left this company and went on to join Axis Elevators as the Operations Director responsible for HR, H&S, 9001, 18001 and 14001 compliance. In 2015 Axis became part of The Otis Group where I was asked to head PDERS as the Business Director within the Express Lift Company (Otis Group) where he had complete responsibility for £27 million P&L of the business unit.
