I have a strong passion for advocating for individuals who need support, and I possess genuine empathy for others. I believe that my natural attributes align well with the responsibilities regarding the position
As a caregiver for a family member with additional needs, I also serve as a volunteer carer representative for the Learning Disability Board i currently work for an agency and have been with company for 7 years in this time i have come in contact with people from all walks of life.
I embrace challenges and approach them with confidence and assertiveness.
My communication skills are strong, allowing me to effectively interact with both verbal and non-verbal individuals, In previous roles, I have received positive feedback from the places and people I have worked with, and I have been personally requested by service providers for my services. This feedback reflects my commitment to providing quality care and support.
I have a lot of experience from working for nurse plus for the past seven years, In both health and social care settings.
I feel this is relevant for the job role as I have supported work colleagues and given them knowledge and advice when they have been new to care, whilst on shift my job role has been to train individuals on how to be competent on how to administrate medication safely and correctly ,For the company i work for i completed the trainer trainer course in 2024 but due to lack of business and changes in the company structure changing was not signed off however I have recently attended the welcome to care training day and have been signed off .
I have a good working relationship with colleagues and provide supportive assistance when needed.
I have just recently gained the qualification TENANCY NCFE CACHE Level 2 Understanding Mental Health First Aid And Mental Health Advocacy in the workplace via Cambridge Regional College.
I would be very interested in the opportunity to achieve further education and development to progress my career
