  • Use of assistive technology - adapting everyday items such as stereos, blenders, sensory lighting and much more to be used by the individual with the use of link boxes and varying types of switches
  • Injury prevention knowledge - monitoring the individual when using the hoist, foot plates on a wheelchair, standing frames for example Any piece of equipment can cause injury, so risk assessing on an individual basis will reduce the risk of injury to the individual
