Assisting tenants with Housing Management Issues

• Reacting at short notice to clients changing support needs, new client referrals and any daily emergencies reported from the Home call centre.

• Interview people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness and undertake detailed enquiries into their circumstances in order to establish the nature and extent of the Council’s duties towards them under the homelessness legislation.
• Undertake home visits, as part of the homelessness investigations, to confirm that the applicant is residing in the property, assess the suitability of their accommodation for occupation and determine the reasons why they are threatened with homelessness.
