    About:

The IC Gold Award is an engineering based award in which a team of students partner with a local company, who present a problem for the students to work towards solving. The company we worked with was Honeywell Hymatic, who presented an issue with forming a copper component used in a cryocooler system. This project required us to research, design and manufacture a method to form the copper component. For this project I was elected team leader and was responsible for communication, planning and coaching other members of the team, as well as the role of design engineer.
