Neal Buttery

The management of reactive and ppm work, from blocked toilets, to installations of pressurized hot water systems. Working on a large site, within the engineering department.

Responsible for mainly the water side of the engineering department, controlling legionella legislation.

Working within a small engineering team, completing reactive and ppm tasks. These tasks were undertaken, in a Category B mens prison. This role carried a great deal of responsibility.

• Conducted boiler servicing, diagnosing faults and replacing defective parts.
• Managed work of external heating and plumbing contractors on larger projects.
• Completed all works to high standards in line with company and industry requirements.
• Took steps to understand workplace hazards to comply with safety rules and procedures.
• Worked to deadlines and timescales and liaised with managers and customers for schedule changes.
• Communicated with customers to explain correct operation of gas appliances and importance of regularly servicing gas applinces.
• Handled installation and maintenance work in domestic and commercial buildings.
• Made estimates of project costs, issued invoices and collected payments.
