Nathan Jones

Whilst being employed by Lyndon-SGB I have undertaken work within a range of sectors, commercial new builds, refurbishment, listed buildings and infrastructure. My role has involved me communicating with the client/other contractors, ordering materials, understanding the bespoke designs given whilst communicating any issues that may be faced during setting out and until the completion of works, ensuring all non bespoke works complies with TG20/product specifications for various systems in use. (Haki, Layher, Cuplok)

During the duration of the jobs I will ensure that any relevant paperwork be completed, signing of risk assessments/method statements, daily pre starts and any handovers/inspections as and when required.

I was employed at New Millennium as a advanced scaffolder working predominantly on new build housing projects. My role as a advanced scaffolder involved me communicating with the site manager and other trades on site to ensure works were completed as required, ordering materials/collections, erecting TG20 compliant scaffolds and completing handovers/off hires upon completion.

I joined Lyndon Scaffolding as a part 2 scaffolder, after 12 months of being employed by Lyndon's I completed my NVQ 3 and gained my advanced scaffolding qualification, later progressing to take on duties as a chargehand. During this time I also undertook training in Haki and Layher system scaffolds.

I worked on various projects from major infrastucture works on motorways/railway stations, waste to energy plants, electrical substations and residential.

I joined Five Star scaffolding as a labourer progressing through to obtain my part 2 scaffolding qualification.
