The time I spent working as a cashier/server for the waffles and shakes franchise really helped expand my knowledge on working in very time calculated environments, as well as developing my communication and management skills. From having the honour of being able to gain work experience i would say this job role was an excellent stepping stone into the start of my work life and really helped me overcome fears I had before starting, such as a lack of confidence etcetera and now I feel very comfortable to move onto a more advanced line of work.
