At the 2019 Nandoscars (the Oscars for Nandos employees... I know right!) I received the Creating Lasting Happiness Award for my involvement in charity work such as raising money and organising events for Nando's Fighting Malaria, Christmas child shoeboxes, Easter egg collecting for children in care and being apart of the Do the Right Thing team in my region. At the 2017 Nandoscars, I received the Being Part Of More Award, I was recognised for lifting team morale in my restaurant. In my own time I decorated the staff room and printed team photos to make the team area more homely. I also repurposed broken crayons from the restaurant and made them into candles to sell for the Nando’s Fighting Malaria charity.
