I made a variety of drinks including, coffee's, teas, hot chocolates etc. according to what the customers want. I was also trained in the kitchen to made a variety of meals according to the menu and made these meals and served them to customers that have ordered the food. I also took out food and drinks to the customers always making sure I made small talk to everyone and making sure that their needs were met during their stay with us. I also made sure that the cafe was always clean and tidy and made sure that all the pots were taken of any empty tables and then wiped clean ready for the next customer that come in. I also made sure that the kitchen was cleaned and helped with cleaning the pots whenever it got busy and also when it wasn't busy making sure we were on top of everything. I also can work really well under pressure and can keep a smile on my face and stay professional even if I may not have been feeling well.

I was working here throughout the summer temporarily. During this job I had training for 2 weeks where I learned all the skills that I needed to continue this job up until the end of the summer. Throughout this job I learned how to sew labels onto school clothes for students and learned how to do it quickly and with ease. I learned how to not give up with what I was doing even if it was sometimes frustrating when the labels did not co-operate with me. I always made sure that all the labels that I sewed was high quality and if I believed it was not then I would restart it and if I believed there was a problem with the sewing machine I would quickly get a senior so then she could fix it and I can get back to work quickly.
