I am outgoing, hardworking, enthusiastic and looking forward to starting a new job. I have 7 years of experience in customer service-oriented roles and 1 year managerial experience working in a busy retail store. All of which relied heavily on teamwork, positivity, energy, attention to detail and resilience. I enjoy learning new skills and taking on new responsibilities and am really looking forward to starting a new and meaningful career where I can contribute and be successful.
I Worked full time at a busy artisan cafe called Cafe Coho next to Brighton's main train station. I was responsible for the daily running of the cafe, ordering and end of day sales reports. I played an integral part in the success of the cafe being flexible, motivating the greater team and leading the team in the absence of the manager.
I started as a shop assistant I was promoted to supervisor across 3 sites and I was offered the assistant manager's role in the district's top store with a 50,000 pound turn over each month. I was responsible for analysing and meeting daily and weekly profit and product targets, training, managing and motivating the team, running the store during its busiest periods and representing the store at district meetings. I had full financial responsibility including banking and balancing the tills.
Whilst studying for GCSEs and A levels I worked at a cafe where I was fully trained as a barista. I ran the front of house operation during busy weekends and weekdays. I was responsible for setting up and opening the cafe as well as closing.
I worked Saturdays at a language school that teaches young children Swedish. It is a school that I have attended for 17 years. It was a great opportunity to gain experience in leadership skills as I was responsible for conducting group activities.
