While working as a level 2 nursery practitioner at Busy Bees I was placed in the Baby room for the majority of the time, looking after children as young as 8 months old up to 2 years.

However I was still occasionally placed in other rooms including the toddler room(ages 2-3) and the preschool room(ages 3-5) allowing me to gather experience with the different age groups.

My roles as Busy Bees included;

- Worked as a team with my fellow practitioners to create a safe and nurturing environment where children could play and explore while being supervised.

- Planning and executing activities the help aid individual children's development and growth.

- Creating and maintaining a strong bond with the parents of the children, fostering a strong communication channel between their home life and nursery life and development.

- Stayed up to date with training and safeguarding rules and regulations.

- Kept up to date online reports and leaning journals to track children's growth and development.

- Provided support during mealtimes and assisted with weaning and allergy support.

During my short time working as a waitress and barista I had the chance to undergo basic barista and waitress training, allowing me to learn and develop new skills.

Some of my training and roles included;

- Working closely with a team to provide support when needed.

- Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment

- Interacting with customers and providing them with a high level of customer service

- Leaning how to make different drinks and coffees

During the 2023 Christmas season i worked as an entertainer and helper at Churchill square shopping centre, my duties included;

- Spreading Christmas cheer and interacting with the general public.

- Thinking on my feet and staying in character in different situations.

- Providing and doing my own hair and makeup

- Performed with 100% energy and enthusiasm to help engage and attract an audience

During 2023 i was hired at an American summer camp to work and stay at during the summer, some of my duties included;

- Overseeing campers during fun and adventurous activities ensuring they remained safe.

- Planning fun and educational games for the campers.

- Worked closely as a team with other camp counsellors to create a safe and nurturing space where campers felt at home.

- Kept up to date with first aid and essential wildness survival knowledge.

From 2021 to 2023 i was self employed and worked as a babysitter for several different families in my local area, some of my roles and duties included;

- Assisting children with homework.

- Preparing snacks and meals for the children.

- Walking children to and from their school and nursery to their house.

- Planning day trips to take the children on, to the local park, the cinema or even being driven to a further parent approved event.

- Kept living spaces clean.

- Adapted to each different families routines and rules.
