
I am a reliable, hardworking, and dedicated professional with extensive years working in the retail industry. Throughout my career, I have developed excellent communication, customer service, teamwork, organisational, and problem solving skills, all of which i believe are highly transferable to a role within education. Working in a busy retail environment’s has taught me how to remain calm under pressure, mange different situations effectively, build positive relationship’s with a wide range of people, and provide support to individuals with patience and understanding.
Over the years, I have gained valuable experience working as part of team, supporting colleagues, handling responsibilities independently, and ensuring high standards are maintained at all times. I am confident communicating with people from different backgrounds and age groups and understand the importance of listening, empathy, and creating a positive environment. My experience has also strengthened my ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and adapt quickly to changing situations.
I am now looking to transition into a Teaching Assistance role as I have a strong interest in supporting children with there learning, confidence, and personal development. I am passionate about helping children feel supported, encouraged, and safe within a school environment. I understand the importance role Teaching Assistances play in helping pupils reach their full potential both academically and emotionally, and I am eager to begin a career which i can make a positive difference every day.
To support my move into education, I have successfully completed TQUK online training covering Safeguarding, Prevent, and British Values. Through this training, I have developed a good understanding of the importance of protecting children and vulnerable individuals, recognising concerns, promoting equality and inclusion, and supporting a safe learning environment. I understand the importance of Safeguarding responsibilities with in schools and the need to follow policies and procedures carefully and professionally.
I am a caring, approachable, and trustworthy person who works well both independently and as part of a team. I am keen to continue learning and developing new skills within education and would welcome the opportunity to gain further experience in a school setting. I believe my strong work ethic, positive attitude, and transferable experience from retail would allow me to become a valuable member of a school team.
I am also currently looking into completing an online level 2 Teaching Assistance course with SEND to continue my develop, knowledge and understanding of supporting children with additional needs. I am particularly interested in learning more about inclusive education and how to provide effective support fir pupils with different learning styles and ablities.
