Fixed-term Christmas period contract. I gained a lot of skills and experience from this job. These are: working with the public, customer service, cash handling, problem-solving, resilience, time management, multi-tasking, using tills, dealing with customer complaints, working efficiently during peak times, maintaining a clean shop floor, stock replenishment, collecting items for online on-demand orders.

Temporary summer job. I worked as part of a team packing medicinal products to be sent to medical customers around the globe. Due to the sensitive nature of the products being packed, I had to ensure to take extra care when carrying out tasks. At times, large quantity batches had to be packed in short periods of time, meaning that I had to complete the job under time pressure. I gained experience working both independently using my initiative, and as part of a team using good communication skills.
