  • I have thoroughly enjoyed gaining and learning new skills
  • I have had the opportunity to work with a various range of young people between the ages 16- 18 years old, each brings their own individuality
  • During my time I have always put in boundaries with the young people, which the young people will test but helps to build a trusting relationship
  • This has helped to be able to talk about difficult subjects with them where they can speak freely and feel that they are in a safe area to do so

  • As a Veterinary Nursing Assistant my main responsibilities were preparing animals for surgical procedures, monitoring anesthetics during operations and generating a vaccination and preventative care reminders for the customers

  • It was my responsibility to ensure the practice had sufficient consumables to operate and when required I was required to submit orders to fulfil customer orders
  • I was required to engage with customers face to face and over the telephone answering any queries that they had and assist with making appointments
  • Owing to working in a small animal practice the team worked closely together to deliver a high level of care for each animal, this allowed the opportunity to also work closely with the client providing a high level of customer service.

Custom

Throughout my life I have had a passion for horses, I currently own a New Forest pony who I ride and care for. I am an active member of the Mopley riding club where I take participate in events they hold and also volunteer to support delivery of their events. I also help coach at Mopley events, I have helped at the kids camp several times and have coached children from 4 years old upwards. Which I have thoroughly enjoyed and find rewarding. I enjoy walking with my family and being outdoors.
