
I am a resourceful and adaptable results driven individual. This passion stretched as far as taking part in several school teams from basketball to chess which helped me to organise myself particularly on the basketball team where I arranged practices and other teams like the chess team which taught me to think several steps ahead. Working for both Marks & Spencer plc and One Financial Planning Ltd, has helped me to develop very good communication skills making it easier for me to thrive within a team.
Finally, I think that because of these experiences I have become passionate about succeeding, not only as an individual but also as a group and I am able to take on challenging new roles harnessing interpersonal skills, collaboration and problem-solving.
I worked at One Financial Planning for two years after I finished my A-Levels and here I developed skills which allowed me to organise myself to be able to deal with several tasks at once and fulfil my duties in a swift manner with tight deadlines.
My role consisted of providing ongoing services to both new and old clients utilising custom financial platform and tools.
I also assisted with resolving all client queries that I was qualified to process and I helped to maintain the office and ensure that it ran smoothly.
During my time, I established myself as a key part of the team and gained new skills in communicating with colleagues and clients.
I also helped run several successful marketing campaigns in which I was required to utilise all my skills in Word and Excel.
The role allowed me to lead others to success, ensuring we met both business targets and delivered customer service at the highest level.
My role ranged from helping with staffing, running the floor and driving service to making sure that colleagues were happy and motivated in the workplace.
Working as a team became a vital aspect of my day-to-day working life, and we were faced with many challenges, in addition I was also a first aider.
This experience allowed me to develop vital people skills as well as a conversational persona, providing me with an ability to aid a consumer's requirements.
I worked part time during my studies, my duties included stock control, refilling shelves, cashier and overseeing general service and dealing with customer queries, ensuring that I maintained a high level of customer service at all times.
This role provided me with first-hand experience within the business.
I began my journey at Marks & Spencer in 2020 working as a part-time customer assistant, where I became a better individual as I started to earn greater responsibilities.
