I am entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing and managing the various equipment and technologies employed within the Critical Care department. My duties involve ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and optimal performance of these technologies, contributing directly to the provision of high-quality patient care within the critical care setting. This responsibility also involves staying abreast of advancements in medical technology to continually enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our critical care services. I am instrumental in ensuring the seamless functionality of integrated medical devices, guaranteeing the accurate transmission of information to the electronic patient recording system. In addition to my primary responsibilities, I have actively contributed to the management and supervision of the housekeeping staff and ICU porters.

I was responsible for providing specialised and high-quality care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, managing ventilators, collaborating with the healthcare team, providing patient and family education, and employing critical thinking skills for quick decision-making. The role also involves maintaining accurate patient records, adhering to infection control protocols, offering emotional support to patients and families, and staying updated on advancements in critical care through continuous education.

As a staff nurse in a dynamic medical and surgical ward, I delivered consistently high standards of individualised nursing care, administered medications and performed nursing procedures with meticulous attention to detail. Building upon this valuable experience, I advanced to the role of charge nurse, where I adeptly coordinated patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Moreover, I assumed leadership responsibilities, guiding and inspiring staff members to elevate patient care standards through effective coaching, teaching, and mentoring initiatives.
