Kyle Sharkey

I work at the Riverhill Courtyard in Helensburgh, where I started as a waiter before being promoted to Supervisor and now Assistant Manager. Throughout my time here I have developed strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills while working in a busy environment. Although my background is mainly in hospitality, completing a van renovation project gave me a real interest in practical and engineering-based work, where I carried out basic plumbing, mechanical and electrical work while learning how to safely use tools and follow health and safety procedures. I live locally and have heard very positive things about Babcock's safety culture and job security, which is why I am keen to start a long-term career with the company. I am hardworking, willing to learn and motivated to prove myself in a new industry.
