• Fully qualified plumber with 8 years’ industry experience across domestic and commercial plumbing work.
• Carry out first-fix and second-fix plumbing installations, repairs and maintenance to a high standard.

Following my redundancy from Jaguar Land Rover, i moved to LEVC where i continued to enhance my skill set in automotive manufacturing while also moving into a training role where i would help new starters learn their trade. My day-to-day tasks were ensuring quality was upheld, keeping a record of inventory for better stock management and problem-solving tasks for improved workflow efficiency.

• Working as part of the production team achieving world class panel finesse and meeting hourly targets under time pressure. Identifying and highlighting issues within the production line and discussing and escalating issues to other departments, striving to achieve a better production. I use IT software systems daily to update, track and record data for each shift. Before each shift is conducted I undertake a health and safety risk assessment of the environment and equipment I will be using. Recently I have been part of conducting and leading team improvement focus groups to propose and implement new time and financial saving ideas. I am also a mentor for new starters ensuring they complete tasks to high quality standards.

• I was responsible and in charge of running shifts ensuring all staff members cooperated and worked effectively to promote sales and provide excellent customer service. I had to ensure profit and loss documentation was kept up to date per shift and to promote new ideas for upselling promotional items. I was selected to be champion of training in McCopCO stores. This involved working closely with different stores in Birmingham, ensuring computer systems were kept up to date with every staff members training records, and training all new starters. I developed excellent customer service skills and was responsible for dealing with complaints on shift and resolving issues. I was awarded and recognised for outstanding performance in my role, resulting in being awarded ‘employee of the year’ for the South of England region.
