I completed a week of work experience with a local company who are plumbing and heating specialists. During this opportunity I gained experience of not only learning the trade but also gaining customer service knowledge within a range of settings. I enjoyed working as part of a team, meeting deadlines and delivering a high standard of work. I carried out any task given to me to a high standard and I received excellent feedback from the Director of the company.

Its A Small World was a children's role play centre including a cafe and party area. I worked here on a weekend and over the school holiday to help my mam during busy times. During my time here I cleared and cleaned tables, washed dishes, hoovered, mopped, and restocked items that were sold, such as soft drinks and crisps. I also helped to reset the role play area after each session. This role was very fast paced and time management was extremely important as the role play area had to be reset and tidied within a certain amount of time between sessions. Children's parties were also held here, so I often had to dress up in a character costume to entertain the children.

I have been a part of Felling Magpies Football Club since the tot's programme until the under 16's. During this time, I improved my skills and fitness through regular training and competitive matches. I have forged strong working relationships with players and club members during this time. Over my 10 years at the club, I have won a variety of trophies including:

-Players' Player

-Most Improved Player

-Sports Person of the Year for my team 2024

-Sports Person of the Year for Felling Magpies club 2024
