Working frontline in the Ambulance Service was an incredible and humbling job. I worked on Frontline Vehicles and also solo in Rapid Response Cars on 999 calls. As you can imagine its a fast pace job having to think quickly but always act calmly. I have had to show leadership skills and work with a person centred approach. You also have to stick within all your guidelines.
