Summary

I work in the care industry. Assisting with mobility, personal care and emotional needs. I have worked in residential and community settings. I can work effectively as part of a team and use my own initiative to work independently as a sole worker. I am aware of my own skills and am not afraid to ask for help when required. I understand and adhere to the principles ofpatient confidentiality at all times. I have good communication skills verbally, written and inbody language. I also have good listening skills. I am aware of infection control policies and procedures, and always wear personal protective equipment when available. I try to promote independence where possible, but I am always willing to assist when needed. I am also willing to undertake any further training or qualifications relevant to the post.

I have currently been out of work for several years due to having to give up work to look after my own son, who has disabilities. I have now reached a point where I can return to work doing a job I love, which is helping to care for other people.
