I have worked in the Veterinary profession for over 35 years working in both Mixed and small animal practice. I have overcome some very unseen times within the profession such as working on the ground as HVN during Covid, developing rotas and SOPs to work in 'Bubbles' to protect both Staff and clients, the move to large corporate practices and unfortunately having to deal with redundancies. During my time as a RVN I was also the BVNA regional coordinator for the South West providing CPD for Veterinary nurses and promoting the profession.For my exceptional work I was awarded Regional co-ordinator of the year in 2013. I have over the years demonstrated exceptional leadership aptitude, staff empowerment, and HR policies implementation. I am a qualified Mental Health first aider and promote diversity in the workplace.
