Juwayriya Ahmed

I am a third-year Children's Nursing student with over two years of diverse clinical placement experience across acute hospital and community settings. Throughout my training, I have gained valuable experience in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU), Accident & Emergency (A&E), general paediatrics, and community child health services, developing strong clinical, communication, and organisational skills.

I am a compassionate, motivated, and resilient individual who is committed to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care. Working in fast-paced clinical environments has strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure, prioritise effectively, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.

My placements have provided experience in caring for children and young people with a wide range of physical, emotional, and complex healthcare needs, while maintaining a strong focus on safeguarding, advocacy, and family-centred care. I am eager to begin my nursing career within a dynamic emergency care environment where I can continue to develop my clinical skills, contribute positively to patient care, and become an effective member of a dedicated nursing team.
