In the second year of my nursing degree I became very ill with a squamous cell carcinoma, cancer of the throat, I am fine now but had to look after myself and get all therapy required, I am on no medication and feel fit enough to do anything. also my partner recently since 2022 was diagnosed with bowel cancer so I had time to look after him also but he is now back to nearly a full bill of health. In the rest of my time away from work I had three children whom I dedicated my time to and made sure they had the better start in life. I have relocated a few times from Ilkeston to Worksop then back home to Ilkeston
