• My responsibility within this role was to deliver care and education to children from 6months to school age.
• I worked in all areas and ages of the nursery and was also occasionally deputised within the role to allow the nursery managers to take time out.

• As supervisor of this day care facility it was my responsibility to ensure that the nursery was run well and operated as per department of education rules and regulations as set out by OFSTED.
• It was my responsibility to ensure adequate staff coverage and the the curriculum was being delivered effectively and made evaluations and changes where needed.
• I was the face of the nursery and the person who liaised with parents concerning the care and education of their children,as well as liaising with social services as and when necessary.

• I was a class teacher for up to 12 Pre-school children in this private school setting.
• I delivered the Pre-school curriculum ensuring all children learnt at their own pace but within the nationally recognized targets.
• I managed curriculum planning and evaluation as well as providing individual plans for those who were more or less able than others.

• I was responsible for supporting the manager in the day to day running of a local day nursery accepting children from 6 months to school age.
• Managing parents expectations along with children's capabilities, overseeing planning of a wide curriculum for all ages and stages.
• Supporting staff and promoting staff development.

• I was responsible for the supervision of a small room of Pre-schooler's planning curriculum and evaluating responses, providing individual tasks and targets for those children in their last couple of terms before starting main stream school.
• I aimed to make the transition from nursery to school a smooth one and worked with local schools and with the schools curriculum planner to ensure this would be a great move for the children and that the new teacher would have current achievement levels for a particular child upon their entrance to school.

• This was a new nursery setting up and i was tasked with developing an appealing play based curriculum to entice new and prospective parents with children ranging from two to school age.

• I was responsible for the day to day care of two children in a private family home as a nanny.
• I provided daily personal care as well as outings and educational play activities until the children began school.

• Working on a cross channel ferry as a creche supervisor -up to twelve children as a time were left in my care during a two and a half hour cross channel journey from Ramsgate to Dunkirk.
• During this time i offered age appropriate learning through play activities to keep children safe, happy and entertained whilst their parents enjoyed some time out or a meal during the crossing.
• (i held this post on a part-time basis alongside my nanny position for Mrs Akers)

• I worked as a trainee nursery nurse to learn and gain experience whilst at college to gain relevant qualifications.
• I learnt how to introduce learning through play, how to use my creative flair to help children create master pieces of art to take home for their parents.
• I was taught and learnt from example how to be great in this field of work.
