For over 5 years I have served as a Police Officer across two forces. I started that career with a passion for public service, safeguarding, community safety, and workplace variety. During my time as an Officer I have gained invaluable and unique skills, with particular regards to effective communication with people from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and physical and mental disabilities; an intimate and practiced knowledge with various levels of the criminal justice system; the management of large and complex caseloads; inter-agency working to tackle identified problems and safeguarding risks.
I am in the ultimate stages of completing my Master's Degree (LLM) in Law, specialising in international human rights, and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology, in which my dissertation specialised in the interactions between the criminal justice system and ethnically diverse communities.
Experience in a variety of roles including Acting Sergeant, CID, response officer, traffic. Received Commander's Commendation in 2021 for involvement in an international operation protecting and safeguarding a large number of human trafficking victims and the apprehension of high level perpetrators. Engaged with a wide variety of demographics, providing emergency and non-emergency services in a range of situations.
Volunteered as Special Constable while studying for my bachelor's degree. Served on response team, dealing with a range of emergency and non-emergency incidents.
