  • As a Year 6 primary teacher, I was responsible for preparing pupils for their final year of primary school, delivering engaging lessons and supporting them to achieve their best in SATs, which I also administered. Alongside my classroom role, I took on additional responsibilities as Maths Lead, helping to develop teaching and standards across the school, and as RE Lead, ensuring the subject was delivered effectively and meaningfully. Also acted as Educational Visits Coordinator, organising trips and ensuring they were safe, well-planned, and enriching for pupils. In this role, I achieved strong SATs outcomes by supporting all pupils to make good progress and reach their potential. Contributed to raising standards across the school as Maths Lead and strengthened the RE curriculum to improve pupil engagement. I also successfully coordinated safe and enriching educational visits. By building positive relationships with parents, pupils, and other professionals, I supported pupil wellbeing, progress, and a smooth transition to secondary school.
