- I am currently working in Fresenius Kabi as a pharmacy dispenser in the enteral feeds team on both pre and postproduction. This has made me discover a passion for pharmacy work and makes me want to progress being a pharmacy technician and ultimately an accuracy checking technician. Whilst working here, I have provided training for other staff members and have developed a good rapport with my team.
- Whilst spending some time on placement at a community pharmacy I have learned new pharmacy processes and communicated with patients face – to face. This has helped me gain confidence and broadened my pharmacy knowledge.
- Tasks I complete on a day to day basis involve:
- Dispensing prescriptions (enteral feeds)
- Contacting GP surgeries to chase prescriptions
- Validating prescriptions
- Labelling prescriptions
- Processing emergency supplies for patients
- Monitoring emails
- Training colleagues
- Dealing with prescription/order queries

- I have experience working in customer service roles. These have included being a front of house staff member at a public house and working in a fashion retail store. Within these job roles I gained great communication skills and how to deal with customers even in difficult situations.
