Summary

I am a hardworking and enthusiastic individual who loves to learn and is always keen to broaden my knowledge. I am organised and have good time management skills and I am able to work well both individually and add party of a team - my experience in previous job roles where I've had to work alone or with colleagues demonstrates this. I feel able to communicate effectively both verbally and non verbally - my current job requires me to use this skill on a daily basis therefore I am constantly practising and improving on this. I take pride in my work and am always striving to be the best that I can be in any job role that I take on.

When I was in 6th year at high school I carried out some voluntary work both with children with additional needs in the High School and children with additional needs in a local primary school, I also carried out voluntary work with a charity called Interest Link which involved spending time and doing activities with teenagers with additional needs. I also did some voluntary work in an ELC setting last year with 3 and 4 year olds. This along with having 2 children of my own adds to my varied experience of working/looking after children and young people. I also completed a PEEP award in 2024 focusing on communication and language development in babies.
