Summary

As an aspiring nurse from The University of Salford, I am driven by a strong academic foundation in patient care and health education. My passion for community health improvement fuels my dedication to learning, positioning me to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment. I am eager to embark on my professional journey, striving to make a meaningful impact in the nursing field.

I look forward to harnessing and enhancing my empathy, patience, and teamwork in my future role.

My first-year clinical placement in the haematology unit lasted seven weeks and ignited a deep passion for oncology and haematology—fields I am committed to exploring further. A two-week digital placement with The Christie in Manchester allowed me to focus on care practices, further shaping my nursing journey toward oncology and inspiring me to make a difference in patients' lives.

My clinical placement in Zanzibar, Tanzania, lasting four weeks, offered invaluable experiences across diverse departments, including Accident and Emergency, Maternity, Dermatology, and a Sexual Health Centre. This transformative journey profoundly shaped my personal and professional growth, empowering me with a deeper understanding of person-centred care.
