I was born in Mansfield, and have recently moved back to my hometown following a 2 year spell living in Cumbria, where I own a property that my partner Rachael and I have renovated.
I have 2 daughters, aged 11 and 7, who I love to get outdoors with for fun picnic and paddleboard days. You can see my youngest daughter, Violet, on the shore of Crummock Water, pictured above.
I am a physically active person who loves to be outdoors. My physical hobbies include resistance training, football, hiking, skipping, rock climbingand boxing. I have also had success competing in Brazilian Jit-Jitsu in the past, winning 2 gold medals. I believe physical health is the most valuable currency we have, so I look after mine by staying active, not drinking, and eating right. In addition to this, I also have a full motorbike license, am a massive fan of film sand TV shows and occasionally play PS5 as well.
I enjoy leading team events, and have successfully organised 3 charity events in 3 of the past 4 years, raising over £6000 collectively for various charities. A friend and I had the idea for the first one back in 2021, and we put together an event to raise money for Nottingham based charity Forever Stars. On the back of this, I decided I'd make it an annual event for a different charity each time, as I really enjoyed all the planning and the teamwork elements of working towards our targets.
